Student Support System

Anti-Ragging:

Ragging is strictly prohibited on our campus, and we take a zero-tolerance approach towards it. Our Anti-Ragging Committee is dedicated to ensuring that students can pursue their education without fear or intimidation. Any instance of ragging, whether it’s physical, verbal, or psychological, can be reported to this committee. They investigate all reports impartially and take prompt action to curb any such activities.

The faculty coordinator for Anti-ragging proceedings is Ms. Gopika Seetharam. You may contact her here: gopika.seetharam@dypatil.edu

Grievance Redressal:

In addition to these specialized committees, we also have a Grievance Redressal Mechanism. This mechanism allows students to report any issue, whether it’s academic, administrative, or personal, which may not fall directly under the purview of the other committees.

Your concerns will be heard and addressed through this channel, ensuring a comprehensive approach to problem-solving.

The faculty coordinator for Grievance Redressal is Ms Nidhi Panicker. You may contact her here: nidhi.panicker@dypatil.edu

Steps involved in addressing the issues discussed with the Anti-Ragging and Grievance redressal cells:

  • The concerned student(s) can approach the faculty coordinator regarding their specific issue.
  • The coordinator discusses the subject with the rest of the committee.
  • The committee conducts a hearing where they decide on the resolution of the issue.
  • If the issue is not resolved, it will be reported to the university grievance cell.

All communication to university redressal mechanisms will be routed through the office of the Dean, DYPSPH.
