Students are expected to attend classes regularly. Student participation is compulsory for visits arranged as a part of fieldwork. A minimum attendance of
75% is required in each course.
This will be calculated along with other components under the internal assessment of all the courses in a semester. 10 marks out of 50 marks for internal assessment will be calculated for attendancefor each course having 3 credits or more. For courses having total credits of 2 willhave 5 marks for attendance out of a total of 30 marks in the internal assessment.
Class attendance will be maintained for each session. Regular attendance at sessions by adjunct faculty, lecture series, seminars, workshops and other academic programmes of the school is essential. Absence without prior permission will be viewed seriously.
