Ms Runika Gade completed her Masters in Public Health from MGM University, Kamothe. She
is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in Public Health at DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai.
She has done a master’s dissertation on utilization of family planning methods amongst urban and
rural communities in Raigad district, Maharashtra. Her primary research interest is in the domain
of family planning and women’s health. She aspires to contribute significantly to this field through
research and practical interventions.Ms Runika had presented a poster entitled “Insights from Severe Acute Respiratory Illness Surveillance Conducted during COVID-19 Pandemic in May and June 2020 at a Tertiary care Centre, Raigad District, Maharashtra, India” at the 49th Annual National Conference of IAPSM and & 23rd IAPSM and IPHAConference, Maharashtra-Chapter 2022
