The last two months of the fourth semester consist of an internship placement at a place of public health importance. This is compulsory and a partial requirement for the award of the degree. Internship has been designed to provide students with an opportunity to integrate and reinforce the knowledge that they have acquired from the courses in the classroom with actual practice under competent supervision by experienced public health practitioners.
Our students have secured opportunities to work with various imminent organizations in the field of Public Health. These coveted internships are in collaboration with renowned government and private organisations such as NHM Maharashtra,NHM Nagaland,NITI Aayog, Integrated Child Development Services, PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Coimbatore,SNEHA, Foundationfor Mother and Child Health, United Way Mumbai, and others.
