Dr Daksha Parmar

Dr. Daksha Parmar possesses over 8 years of impactful research and teaching experience. Formerly, she was an Assistant Professor at IIT Guwahati. As a Research Associate at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, she was part of the Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS)-II. A recipient of the prestigious Dr. Yusuf Hamied Fellowship from Columbia University, Dr. Parmar’s expertise spans diverse areas, including her recent consultancy projects with WHO, India, focusing on COVID-19 management and health services delivery in Assam.
